Dr Delon’s report

On February 7th, Vincent is summoned by Doctor Delon, at the Mayor’s request and after the petition.
Delon’s report is particularly scathing, and he affirms Vincent must be committed.
Why so tough a report?
We can imagine his rage, when he heard about the petition, and maybe his violent reaction against a doctor who had to judge his mental state. Such a sensitive person as him may have been really unsettled by his neighbours’hostility…
