Vincent Van Gogh : Memory of Mauve

When he learned about Mauve’s death, Vincent’s cousin who was a painter and had taught him how to paint in the beginning.
At his death, Vincent, inspired painted: “ a plot of ploughed land in an orchard, a fence made of reeds, and two blooming peach-trees, pink in a stunning blue sky, with white clouds, right in the sun. I wrote “Memory of Mauve, Vincent and Theo” on it”.
